Organizing

Help bring people together to build collective power for drug policy reform. As a community organizer, you’ll assist with planning meetings, outreach to individuals and organizations, and leadership development initiatives. If you enjoy connecting with people and mobilizing action, this role is for you!

Educating

Fight misinformation and stigma by sharing accurate, accessible information. Help develop educational materials, organize workshops, and engage with the public at events. Whether you love public speaking or prefer working behind the scenes, your contributions will help shift the narrative around drug use and policy.

Advocating

Make your voice heard and help others do the same! Advocacy volunteers support our policy efforts by researching policy, writing briefs, engaging with lawmakers, mobilizing supporters for legislative action, and helping to coordinate grassroots lobbying campaigns. If you’re passionate about policy change and want to take an active role in shaping Maryland’s drug laws, this is the perfect opportunity.

Fundraising

Help sustain and grow our movement by supporting fundraising and grant writing efforts. Assist with researching funding opportunities, drafting grant proposals, coordinating fundraising events, and engaging donors. If you have experience with writing, event planning, or donor outreach—or want to learn—this is a great way to contribute to meaningful change.
